Instructions

Students can use the accompanying 30 page booklet and the model parts, in class or on their own, to learn stereochemistry. Included are 15 exercises: for example; Eclipsed and staggered conformers, Ring strain, Equatorial and axial positions (in cyclohexane), Chirality, Determining (R) and (S) forms, Diastereomers, Meso compounds, to name a few.

This kit is an expanded version of ORG-2, made larger by the inclusion of parts enabling students to compare sp³, sp², and sp bonding, and to make aromatic rings with trigonal planar atom centers.
